Blankets for Moore, Oklahoma

Help us help the folks in Moore, Oklahoma who recently lost everything in the tornado that devestated their lives. In fact, one of our beloved customers lives in Moore so this project is very personal to us at the shop.

We’re collecting knitted and crocheted blankets to send off to Moore later this summer.
Baby blankets or lap robes of any size are needed.

We designed the HoneyBee_Blanket with this project in mind if you would like to use it.

Knitting up quickly with Encore worsted yarn, it uses just four skeins.

The photo shows the detail of the green Honey Bee Blanket that measures approximately 30 inches square.

Or, feel free to use your favorite pattern andmachine washable yarn. You can make it any size.

Consider buddying up with a friend to make it go faster.

And please consider writing a personal note for the recipient.
(Please attach the note securely to your blanket).

Join us on Sunday afternoons in June from 1-5pm. We have desginated this time to work on the blankets.

We’d like to collect as many blankets as possible by July 13th.
